Lighthouse Learning

One useful skill — on the phone you already have.

Lighthouse Learning is the practice path you join. The Lighthouse Method is how we teach.

Right now we practice in community rooms. Next, teams farther away can run the same kind of class. Home and family paths come later.

For communities we can’t visit every week

Digital lessons so your team can run classes like the ones TEI teaches on site. Same rhythm: teach, practice, then use it on their own after class.

That path is coming. If you support a community farther away, start with a conversation.

How we teach

  1. 1

    Start with something useful

One thing you want to be able to do.

  2. 2

    Make it understandable

Plain language. One step at a time.

  3. 3

    Practice it yourself

You do the next step. We stay with you.

  4. 4

A step you can return to

A handout, a note, a step you can try again later.

What people get better at

First, make the phone easier to see, hear, and hold.

Then practice until the phone feels familiar.

Next, connect — a message, a photo, a person you want to reach.

Then give a suspicious message a second look instead of acting right away.

Later, use everyday digital services with more calm.
